Boodeeding

When my youngest brother was about Wiggly's age, he had this knack of making up completely different words. For example: butterfly was “kakang” and going for a motorcycle ride was “pruwang.” The words didn't even come close to the words or phrases he was trying to convey to us but we understood it perfectly. We all thought it was funny and the cutest thing in the world. Apparently I still think that's cute because I've been secretly just wishing that Wiggly would do the same thing. Well... Wiggly did not disappoint.... the other day I taught him the word “zucchini” and showed him what it looked like and he goes, “boodeeding!” Does that even sound anything like zucchini? I don't think so. Daddy doesn't think so either but is just as amused as Mommy. So now both Daddy and Mommy are going around saying “boodeeding” out of the blue.

Here's another funny one but closer to the word itself: he says, “Butky” for Becky. That just has to go down in my books!
