Wiggly. Three years have been a blast with Wiggly. We are blessed.
Today, for a moment, there are sad tears shed for Bebe Boder. Although he is thriving mightily in his foster family's loving care, we so long to meet him. Now it seems we have yet a longer than anticipated wait ahead
of us. Things have been put off in anticipation of Bebe Boder's homecoming this spring, maybe even early summer. People/friends have been turned away from staying at the house around this time to allow for
Bebe Boder's transition to his new family. All that is now for naught. Today, I'm having to realistically reset
another idealistic expectation of Bebe Boder's homecoming to fall. Fall of 2013 was our first hope of
meeting Wiggly's brother. We've had to reset that several times in the last year. Having to reset
that expectation to fall again is a tough pill to swallow. I am sad for us, I am sad for brother, I am sad for
Brother's birth mother who I'm sure did not expect for her son to linger in limbo this long.
We will press on, clinging to God's grace. Never did I imagine that I would have picked such fitting title to my blog. I look back at my heading prayer asking God "to remind us when tough times come, to look back at this waiting period." This time around, this painful waiting period reminds me to look back and cling to the
hope and joy we felt as soon as we held Wiggly in our arms. God held us together then, He will hold us
together now, even more. I cling to the truth that this was no surprise to God. He has mighty plans for us and will reveal it to us in His time.
I will bounce back but for now, sad tears are not being held back.
