Goodies

Giving Mommy's biscuit his smell of approval.

Sour cream pancakes... yummy. Sour cream pancakes with home grown/canned peaches and bacon on the side...yummy to the tummy!

For lunch today we had: chips topped with chicken, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and tons of cheese, Daddy's home made pico de gallo made with home grown tomatoes, onions and peppers, and home grown sahweet corn. Yum! Thanks GM for all your hard work!

A certain boy in our house approved of today's lunch. For one who isn't so fond of "matoes", he sure kept asking for more pico de gallo!

I had forgotten how much I LOVE fishing. This was our second time
going fishing just usn's three – both times we had a blast. Or I had a
blast. The first time, we forgot to bring a bucket. The second time, before we went out, Wiggly reminded Daddy to bring a bucket like
50 gillion times! No fish caught by Wiggly yet. I'm so excited for him
to catch his first fish.

Got mook?

err... jelly?

I got myself a dishwasher!

Walked in to this scene unfolding for the first time just last week. He then proceeded to ask me to take his picture doing “ditches.”

Now if only he would stay as willing to do dishes when he gets to be a bit older.

Memory Lane: Korea Day 2, Part 2

I've written pretty much everything of our 1st meeting with Wiggly.
So here are just a few more pics I've not posted from 2 years ago.

He just looked too stinking cute with this little outfit including the sun visor!

On our way to the Korean barbeque restaurant.

Our first dinner together with our son.

Wiggly still does this little habit of crossing his hands together.

So with this little tongue action.

Having some extra time with Wiggly at the guest house.

After Wiggly and his foster moms left, the rest of our evening was spent looking at the pictures and videos we took, and getting ready for the next day, our gotcha day/family day. It was such an exciting time for us. Yet most likely a
bittersweet time for Wiggly's foster family. We owe them so much. They will be in our hearts forever.

Memory Lane: Korea 2 years ago Day 2, Part 1

5/19/2011 Our first half of the day was our guided tour around some popular parts of Seoul. We went to two different palaces, ate lunch and went through Insadong Market just to get ourselves acquainted with the place with plans to come back another day to shop. Our volunteer tour guide was a college student at that time. Most of the volunteers do this just to practice their English. J spoke very good English and didn't have any problems communicating with us. She took us to the subway and gave us helpful tips to navigate the subway.
We went to Gyeongbokgung Palace first. I found it interesting to see this historic site surrounded with skyscrapers.

We got there not long before the "change of guards" show started. I can't quite recall the term for it.

How about that woman carrying that big load on her head! Wow!

We either took the bus to Insadong or from Insadong to close to the guest house.

Finally time to eat at this place in Insadong Market!

 Bibimbap. Yum!
Gimbap! Yum! Wiggly still likes this stuff.
 Some super spicy noodle stuff.
 Some type of kimchi.

Saw and smelled this concoction in Insadong. Fried worms. No thanks!

Hurry, hurry, you're going to be late for the first meeting of your son!

Thank you GM for all the photographs!
